Mood Lighting is an exhibit that bathes visitors in colored light. A knob allows visitors to change colors. The inside surface is featureless and can be used to induce a Ganzfeld effect under prolonged use. It also makes a great photo op!
When I was testing out a prototype of the exhibit, I had a father and daughter tell me it was the daughter's favorite exhibit. She was easily overstimulated and the uniform visual field made her feel like her whole body was inside the light, not just her head. She spent quite a while relaxing in there, which encouraged me to keep working on the exhibit.
