Using living phytoplankton and different sizes of clear acrylic tubes, I created a living chandelier for the gallery space. This piece was produced as a prototype for the much larger Algae Chandelier now on display at the Exploratorium.
This artwork was created for the OPENwater installation in Alameda, CA in November 2010. OPENwater was produced by OPENrestaurant.
